Privacy Policy

I value your privacy and attempt to comply or exceed all current legislative requirements to protect you, including the new GDPR legislation.

I believe you have;

A right to be forgotten. If you wish me to delete any personal data I have on record about you it will be deleted permanently.

A right to rectification. If you wish for me to update the information I hold about you at any time you may inform me and I will do so.

A right to know. If you wish to know what personal data I have on file for you, please ask and I will tell you.

I will never share, sell or pass on any information or data about you to anyone without your consent.

My emailing list is controlled by MailChimp. I choose them as my provider in large part due to their very exacting standards of data protection and privacy.

MailChimp has self-certified to both the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield regimes, and lawfully transfers EU/EEA personal data to the U.S. pursuant to our Privacy Shield Certification. They also complete a SOC II Type 2 examination on an annual basis for the Trust Principal Criteria of Security, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Availability. In addition, they are prepared to address any requests made by their customers related to their expanded individual rights under the GDPR.

You can read MailChimps privacy policy in full here – https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/

When you sign up to my email newsletter you will be specifically agreeing to your name and email address and preferences on the sign up form being transferred and stored by MailChimp to be used in my email marketing campaigns. You may withdraw consent for this at any time in the future by unsubscribing to my emails and provision for this is contained on every email I send out.

I am regulated by the laws governing the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
