Almost all of my images are available to buy as prints, even if they are not on my website. But I have decided to offer a ‘print of the month’ at a discounted price for those who might like to own one of my images, or for those who collect my work and would like to accelerate the addition of images to their collection.
This months print is “Odyssey in Amber”. For me this is part of a completely new series, based on a new process I have developed. It is quite a departure from anything I have done before being, although made from a series of photographs, no longer truly a ‘photograph’ in the way we perhaps think of one.
If you are interested in the process, “Odyssey in Amber” has been made from several images blended together and then manipulated in Photoshop. Personally, I enjoy the riot of colour and shapes along with the abstract nature of the images.
If time allows, I will select a new image each month and list it on my website (if you have a favourite you would like me to consider, please drop me an email with a link to it- can’t promise, but you never know) and offer it at a reduced cost to my normal print prices. There will be A4, A3 and A2 versions and the price will include P&P in the UK. If you live outside the UK you can email me for P&P costs to your location. All prints will be open edition, signed and blind stamped.
All prints are made on the paper size stated and then, depending on the crop, will be inset to allow a border which is aesthetically pleasing, allows for the blind stamp (which is 38mm in diameter), signing and for mounting – so the print area is smaller than the paper size. A4 and A3 prints are sent flat, un-mounted in archival clear sleeves. A2 prints are sent rolled with protective archival quality tissue in a cardboard tube as sending flat is not feasible and prone to damage in transit.
All images are printed on Fotospeed Fine Art paper. The paper choice will vary depending on the image. I will choose the paper which is best suited to the image type. The main papers I use are Platinum Baryta 300, Platinum Etching 285, Smooth Cotton 300 and Natural Textured Smooth Bright White 315. All produce beautiful results.
Printed on A4 Р£49 (usually £100). Printed on A3 Р£75 (usually £125). Printed on A2 Р£125 (usually £200)
Printing and delivery is to order. As I am often away there may be a slight delay in processing your print order. I will always endeavour to get your print to you as quickly as possible. If I am home it may only take a few days for you to receive your print. Prints in the UK are sent by Royal Mail.
Here are some recent testimonials from my customers
“Thank you for being so generous and sharing of your knowledge – you made me look at familiar locations in a new way”
“Just to reiterate my thanks for an enjoyable couple of sessions with you. Each time we meet I try and take on board you comments and the very wide and knowledgeable thoughts that you share, that comes across without any waffle. I enjoy your open chatty de-briefs immensely.”
“A quick note to say a very sincere thanks for the workshop yesterday. The time and trouble you, and not forgetting Elizabeth, had taken to make it a success was very evident and contributed to what I can only describe as one of my most memorable and worthwhile photographic days.”
“I can’t thank you enough for yesterday. ¬†I learnt more in a few hours of personal tuition with you than in many months of striving on my own. ¬†I was¬†excited¬†by the learning rate after the first half an hour but things just became better as the day went on. ¬†You pitched it just right by leaving me to implement what you had shown me and then taking me on to the next challenge. By the end of the session my photography had demonstrably improved. ¬†You also confirmed that what I am setting out to do is achievable. Although I did not take notes during all of the software session I have gone back through everything we did again this morning and am able to remember all of it. ¬†I have been looking forward to working with you since I first heard your lecture quite some time ago. ¬†I was not disappointed. ¬†Thanks for a brilliant, rewarding and successful day.”
“Many many thanks for a fantastic day. I was amazed how much¬†I learnt so quickly and thoroughly enjoyed every minute ‚Äď brilliant tuition!”
“Many thanks for a really enjoyable day yesterday. I learnt a great deal and it was great to talk to you about lots of issues that would be incomprehensible and of no interest to a lot of photographers.”
“can I thank you for the help, advice and your patience you have given me over the past 10 months. My photography technique and understanding has taken a quantum leap”
“Many thanks for all your help on Tuesday I learnt so much in such a short space of time I can hardly believe it!”
