This series was made at and inspired by the volcanic garden of artist César Manrique on Lanzarote. Both the park and the island as a whole are an inspiration. The lava landscape twisted by intense volcanic eruptions hosts stunning cactus flora. The light is sublime. No wonder César loved it so much that he fought to preserve it from modern architecture and exploitation.
