Folded Slate

This collection was made in Cumbria at an art installation created by artist Andy Goldsworthy as part of his ‘Sheepfolds’ Project. I was inspired by the subtle colours and textures in the slate wetted by the soft falling rain, the way the light changed the appearance of the circular structures in the sheep pen walls as the sun moved around the sky softened by the grey clouds and the glorious location. This was my homage to the master artist and his thought provoking work.
